Making a meaningful impact through food & drink

Soane’s Kitchen makes a meaningful impact through the medium of food and Alex works closely with charities and enterprises that naturally connect with the values of the brand. We offer mentoring, hospitality training and employment opportunities to young offenders, assisting with their rehabilitation and equipping them with the skills they need to succeed. Owner Alex Head is a proud ex-offender employer, with over 10% of her workforce coming through one of our key charity partners such as Switchback, Key4Life and Novus schemes with quite a few also coming directly from HMP Prison Brixton.

Our Social Pantry Cafe in Battersea supplies sweet treats provided by the boys based in¬†HMP Prison Brixton’s, Bad Boys Bakery. Alex and the team make regular visits to the prison to meet the boys, bake with them and cook with the team. behind The Clink Charity.

We buy all of our coffee through Redemption Roasters, who are a rehabilitation academy in based in HM Prison Aylesbury. We stock their coffee across all of our sites and are proud to use their product daily.

We list some amazing wines from San Patrignano, Italy’s incredibly successful rehabilitation community based in Rimini, Italy.

These are just a few of the suppliers we work with across the business and are very proud to do so.
